How to request deletion of information stored by Freelance Signal Engine and what happens after a valid request.
If you are a Threads user, a company representative, or another individual whose publicly available information may have been stored by Freelance Signal Engine, you may request deletion of that information.
Where a valid request can be matched to stored data, the operator will remove the relevant personally identifying lead record from the active database (local or hosted) and from reasonably accessible exports under the operator's control. Where appropriate, the record may be replaced by a minimal suppression marker (the email address and a "do not contact" flag) so the application does not re-add or re-contact the same person after deletion.
Residual copies may remain temporarily in routine local backups until those backups are overwritten or retired. Such copies will not be restored for ordinary lead-processing purposes after a valid deletion request. Storage on the hosted instance is temporary and is cleared automatically when the app restarts.
Deletion requests are normally reviewed and completed within 30 days. If more time is reasonably required, the requester will be informed using the contact information supplied with the request.
Deleting data from Freelance Signal Engine does not delete your Threads or Meta account and does not remove the original content from Threads. For account-level deletion or removal of content hosted by Threads, use the controls provided by Meta/Threads.
