The terms governing responsible use of Freelance Signal Engine, its third-party integrations, and its public-data research workflow.
These Terms govern the use and operation of Freelance Signal Engine, including the hosted instance at freelance-signal-engine.streamlit.app. By using the application, you agree to use it lawfully, responsibly, and consistently with the terms and policies of any source platform or API involved.
Freelance Signal Engine is a research tool for organising publicly available freelance and business-development signals. It can normalise, de-duplicate, score and export records gathered from approved APIs, permitted public sources, or files supplied by the operator.
The application is intended to process only data that is publicly available, explicitly provided by an authorised API, or supplied by the operator through a permitted import. It must not be used to bypass authentication, CAPTCHAs, access controls, paywalls, platform restrictions, robots.txt directives, or other technical protections.
The Threads integration is intended to discover and organise relevant public posts where the approved API permits it. Freelance Signal Engine does not automatically reply to, message, email or contact anyone. Any outreach decision is made separately by the operator.
The hosted instance is provided for the operator's own use and is protected by a password. Access credentials must not be shared, and attempts to access the instance without authorisation are prohibited. Storage on the hosted instance is temporary; the operator is responsible for downloading exports they wish to keep.
Threads, Meta, public websites, company directories, job platforms, Streamlit Community Cloud and other third-party services are independent services. Their availability, APIs, data, policies and functionality may change at any time. Use of those services remains subject to their respective terms.
Public data, job listings, contact information and automated relevance scores may be incomplete, outdated, duplicated or incorrect. Important information should be verified at the original source (linked from every lead) before acting on it.
The operator is responsible for complying with applicable privacy, electronic marketing, anti-spam and data-protection requirements, including Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Suppression, unsubscribe and do-not-contact requests must be respected.
The Freelance Signal Engine name, custom source code, design and documentation remain the property of their respective owner(s), except for third-party libraries, APIs, trademarks and content that remain subject to their own licences and rights.
The application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with future third-party API changes.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from third-party platform changes, inaccurate public data, misuse of the application, loss of data held in temporary hosted storage, or reliance on automated lead scoring.
These Terms may be updated as the application evolves. The current version will be published at this URL.
The application is operated from Malaysia. Questions about these Terms may be sent to hello@adhwashukri.com.
